Díaz Paunetto Arquitectos was established in 2010, evolving from the independent architectural practice founded by Víctor Díaz Paunetto in 1992. More than three decades of experience have shaped a studio grounded in thoughtful design, technical rigor, and a deep understanding of the built environment.

 

The practice was initially informed by hands-on construction experience and a close relationship between design and building. Today, DPA operates as a multidisciplinary studio integrating architecture, urban design, research, and construction-related services.

 

Working across a wide range of scales and typologies, Díaz Paunetto Arquitectos is known for combining contemporary design with local relevance. Its work balances innovation with restraint and creativity with precision, while remaining responsive to the specific needs of place, people, and purpose.

Founder + Principal

Víctor Díaz Paunetto, AIA, is the founder and principal of Díaz Paunetto Arquitectos. A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Architecture, his work spans architecture, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, residential design, and construction-related services. His career also includes teaching, professional leadership, lectures, and research, complementing a body of work recognized through numerous local and international design awards.
