The project entailed the interior design of the 4th floor of the PR Sheraton Hotel & Casino Annex Building, with a focus on natural lighting, visibility, sound reduction, and cost efficiency. The layout was developed to optimize openness and transparency while maintaining acoustic control and budget-conscious solutions. Executive offices are positioned at the far end of the floor plate, separated from the main workspace by a continuous frameless glass wall. This design allows daylight to filter deep into the space while maintaining visual connectivity across teams.
The glass wall not only enhances physical transparency, but also symbolically reflects the client’s commitment to fiscal transparency in public fund management. Employees and executives share access to exterior views and natural light, promoting a sense of equity and openness. Sustainable materials such as acoustic plaster, polished concrete, and exposed infrastructure were selected to deliver long-term durability, reduce maintenance needs, and align with environmental goals. The result is a high-performance workspace that strikes a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and responsible design.
