El Anexo GELM, de Díaz Paunetto Arquitectos, rehabilita una estructura abandonada de los años 60 en Corozal para uso educativo. Mediante estrategias de diseño sostenible, incorpora una piel de acero corten perforada y paneles de colores que filtran luz natural, dialogan con la vegetación y revitalizan el entorno escolar.

The GELM Annex, designed by Víctor Díaz Paunetto AIA, transformed a 1960s abandoned structure into a vibrant educational facility through adaptive reuse. Featuring a weathering steel skin inspired by bamboo and colorful glass panels, the project promotes sustainability and ecological harmony, earning multiple AIA Honor Awards and Biennale recognition.

El evento resaltó sus logros recientes en la Bienal de Arquitectura y Premios de Honor del AIA PR, con cinco galardones. Víctor Díaz Paunetto agradeció el apoyo recibido, reafirmando su compromiso con la arquitectura como herramienta de cambio.
